HOPINEU Lecture Series: Precautionary Measures in Insurance

This student oriented and online lecture delivered by Prof. Samim Ünan from Galatasaray University on 19-20 November 2020 sought to tackle the problem of “the breach of contractual obligations”, one of the challenging issues of insurance law. Prof. Ünan’s talk focused on how this issue is dealt with in Turkish law and in other different legal systems, with examples for the possible consequences of contractual breaches that vary according to the type of insurance. This event was organised by Dr. Ayşegül Buğra as part of her Jean Monnet Module project which is being run with the support of the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union.
