Conference Content: This conference organized by College of Law in collaboration with NASAMER was the first academic event of the project ‘Harmonization of the Principles of Insurance Law in Europe’ of Dr. Buğra, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. It was held at Koç University Anatolian Civilizations Center (ANAMED) in April 2019 where the topics discussed encompassed the use of gender and genetic characteristics as risk factors in risk profiling by insurers and whether this practice would constitute discrimination.
