Younger Comparativists Committee (YCC) is a committee formed under the auspices of the American Society of Comparative Law (ASCL) which is the leading organization in the United States promoting the comparative study of law. YCC organizes annual conferences to promote informed dialogue in the area of comparative law, where young scholars present their research on diverse legal issues from a comparative perspective.
It was the first time that the YCC Annual Conference took place outside the US and Koç University Law School generously supported by NASAMER was selected to host the event. The call for papers of the conference received the highest number of applications with altogether 172 paper proposals submitted by scholars from a large variety of countries, 118 of which were accepted for presentation.
