Panel Content: Koç University Law School Department of International Private Law faculty members organized a conference on the recognition and enforcement regime of foreign court decisions and arbitral awards in Türkiye and the problems in practice on December 23, 2016. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Z. Derya Tarman from Koç University Law School took part as a moderator to the half-day conference where Yalın Akmenek from White&Case Law Firm, Okan Demirkan from Demirkan&Kolcuoğlu&Koçaklı Law Firm and Simel Sarıalioğlu from Paksoy Co. Law Firm presented their experiences at Turkish courts dealing with enforcement procedures. The problems of enforcement in practice discussed in the panel, received great interest especially from the senior students.
