The Role of Comparative Law in International Arbitration

Sébastien Besson was invited to deliver a one-hour seminar with a Q&A session on 3 May 2019. He talked on “The Role of Comparative Law in International Arbitration” and shared his experience not only with our students but also with a larger audience. The talk guided practitioners through the international arbitration process from beginning to end. It compared the rules of arbitral procedure in each of the major arbitration jurisdictions, helping practitioners decide which jurisdiction/institution’s rules they wish to be bound by.
